Another stainless table base for Scott Faulkner Design. This one is made from 3/8″ stainless plate with a matte mill finish and polished edges. We love the grain that comes out with stainless plate! The top was made from solid 5/8″ oak by SFD.
Katz table 1
Scott Faulkner Design contacted us to make a base for this little end table. It’s simple, beautiful and, made from 1″ stainless square bar stock. The finish is satin with wax. The SFD built top has a rift cut oak veneer over MDF.
DMG
Resin for the DMG home.
This steel table was constructed with custom lugs as one might build a bicycle. The finish was created specifically for this client using various techniques which give the impression that this table had been long used, and loved. The beautiful top is made from translucent red resin.

The console table sits behind the sofa in the family room. It was built using 3/8″ hot rolled steel plate, gently sanded to remove excess scale, then oiled, and waxed. The table measures almost 10′ in length and had to be built in two pieces for logistic reasons. Overall weight of this piece before wood was 710lbs. [Read more…]
Purpleheart end table
Table made from mild steel and purpleheart wood.
- Leg detail at table top. Leg passes through top and flushes at top with wood plug.

When details count… Is the bar coped into the leg? Or… Does the leg have a hole that the bar goes in to? These stainless tables received a stone top (by others). Made from 3/8″ stainless true bar and 1 1/2″ stainless tube. Satin finish with wax to prevent fingerprints. (The bar was coped)
Z bench
Small blackened steel bench/stool with brazillian cherry top planks. Rubber bumpers to prevent any floor damage.
Blackened steel speaker stands
Speaker stands with pivoting top shelf and adjustable middle shelf. Cable run holes in tube for speaker or power wires.
Steel and Cocobolo end table
End table fabricated from 1/4″ pickled and oiled steel. Blackened and waxed finish. Drawer faces made from Cocobolo. All parts except drawer glides made and designed by Pivot.
